In a hurry I installed the new Vista before deleting my Norton Symantec Antivirus. I was never prompted to delete the old one before the installation. Now I'm getting errors constantly "driver blocked due to incompatability". This is for Symantec Antivirus and Autoprotect. When I try to uninstall the program I get " This version of Symantec Antivirus does not support Windows Vista Platforms". I've tried going into C:/Program Files and deleting it that way and it says "Destination Folder Access denied" then "You need permission to perform these actions"; Yet, I'm the administrater on the computer. I've royally screwed up I know. Any idea how to fix my mistake?

You don't say which version of Norton you have, but if it 2006 or 2007, try updating to the Vista compatable version. Click on this link http://www.symantec.com/windowsvistasupp... and follow the instructions at the Norton Update Center for Windows Vista. If you wish to entirely uninstall Norton, use the Norton removal tool here:
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/sos...
This removes all traces of Norton 2003-2007 on your system. Good luck.
