we bought it and it prevented mozilla from working and i spent 2 hours with the SBC help person until i finally uninstalled it..........any opinions and or different antivirus progs? (besides Norton)?

I have three AV programs that I trust completely. Panda is one of them. They have three different products that include their antivirus: Panda Antivirus, Panda Antivirus + Firewall, and Panda Internet Security suite. You can use the interactive troubleshooter to find solutions to your problem or use the ''contact us'' link at the upper right of the screen. I think Panda support personnel would be better qualified to diagnose and resolve problems with their own product, not SBC.

Your firewall probably bloqued it, i installed it last week and its been working great.
How bout McAfee?
