i am running th trial vershon of norton and when i went to install aaswe antivirus my computer would rest b4 it even opened windows i had to goto safe mode and uninstall aaswe b4 i could reload windows if i uninstall norton then install aaswe will it work then?

You have to go to your registry and remove all instances of Norton manually. There are too many free antivirus programs to use Mcafee or Norton. get rid of Notrtan, takes up way to much space and misses lots of bad stuff, remove it in add or remove programs, download the trial Internet security AVG not just the antivirus but the whole suite, after 30 days you can decide if you like it or not I think you will.
