There are no more patches for SP1 but I am scared to install SP2-will it be compatible with my firewall and Norton Antivirus? Is there a way to disable the antivirus in SP2 since I don't need it? Or should I keep the firewall in SP2 turned on and stop using the external firewall %26 Norton Personal Firewall?

Sp2 will not hurt your computer. In fact it will make it more secure.
There isn't any antivirus program in sp2, but there is a fire wall, which I wouldn't use. It only monitors in bound traffic, anything on your computer can gain access to the internet. The fire wall can be turned off in the security center. Besides you have two firewall already. Only one is reccommended at a time, but if you don't have any problems leave it as it is.
But by all means get sp2, it addresses a lot of exploits and security issues.
