Abstinence
a tetanus shot...then a booster straight away....in case you missed something
nortan is one of the best
I use Avast, the free home edition. I've tried McAffee and it kept disabling. I've tried Norton and I had problems where I had to do a complete recovery, twice. I've tried AVG and it's not very customizable. I've been using Avast for about a year now and I'm very happy with it. In fact, the other day I was searching for themes and skins. I found some I like from a site that claimed to be spyware free. I tried to download and Avast blocked it due to spyware and adware.

would have to agree... copy and paste this into your addy bar, and check it out...
they're all about the same. you need to keep up the virus definitions so they stay current. an online scan is also good to do every once in a while.
BlueBoy your hilarious dude...
Uh yea I'd say Mcafree is pretty good that's what I have.
Norton but it slower your net
As a former admin clerk, computer geek, and net surfer extraordinaire, I vote for AVG Professional Edition. My wife who sells on Ebay agrees. We've been using AVG for about seven years. We feel dollar-wise it's a much better buy than even Norton.
You can of course download a free edition of AVG but the professional version which really doesn't cost much, is the best.
I have always been a firm believer that McAfee and Symantec do more harm than good. I have been using Avast Home Edition, which is free, for over 3 years now and never have had a virus. We use Avast professional edition at work. It works wonders.

I don't know what Yahoo's problem is. They won't let us post this as a link!
Hands down, Grisoft Home Edition. FREE. Other AVG solutions cost money, slow down your system, and are impossible to remove if something goes wrong.
