The only way of doing it would be to get on the Internet with someone else's computer, go to the parent website for the anti-virus and download the modules onto a USB drive. Bring that drive to your computer and install from there. Actually you would have to copy and paste the file to the new location.
Mind you, for this you would have to know where to look for this file... This file could be protected, depending on the software at hand.
To avoid all the hassle it is best if you took your computer to your friends place and connected to update. If you have no viruses and do not connect to the Internet or share USB drives/floppies/Cd's that have been contaminated at another system, You really don't need to update it. Just click off the little warning dialog window.
